So the delivery driver pulled up in front of my house and blocked my driveway with his car lights on, his interior lights on, and his window rolled down. My brother told my mom he saw me pick up a package, and she immediately asked me what that “black man” had dropped off. Now she thinks she is in danger bc I am inviting “dangerous drug dealers” to our house. This drama is adding stress to our relationship and we may now have to cancel business plans that we were working on. She thinks weed is the same as heroin and is stuck in her old ways. I would appreciate using common sense and park in a designated parking space on the street- not in front of the driveway. Turn the car lights off and most importantly, the interior lights off. That way my family and neighbors aren’t being nosy and wondering what the stranger they’ve never seen before is doing parked in the middle of the street. Please dont park in front of the driveway if I text you saying I will come outside to pick it up. Otherwise I would have just said to come up to the door.
